4. AI-Assisted Virtual Receptionist

Our services include AI-powered voice agents (“Morgan”) that may answer, make, or facilitate phone calls on behalf of Startup Miracle and its clients. These AI assistants:

  • Use speech-to-text and text-to-speech technology to conduct natural phone conversations
  • May record calls for quality assurance, training, and service delivery purposes
  • Collect information you voluntarily provide during calls (name, email, business details, appointment preferences)
  • Store call transcripts and summaries in our secure database for follow-up and service personalization
  • Are powered by third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Deepgram, Vapi) whose privacy policies also apply

5. Express Consent for Calls & Text Messages

By providing your phone number and checking the consent box on our website forms, you expressly consent to receive:

  • AI-assisted phone calls — including automated and pre-recorded voice calls from our AI virtual receptionist for demo, lead qualification, appointment scheduling, and service-related purposes
  • Text messages (SMS/MMS) — including appointment confirmations, demo follow-ups, service notifications, and marketing messages

Calls and messages are sent to the phone number you provide. Frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

6. TCPA Compliance

Startup Miracle complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all applicable federal and state regulations:

  • We do not make automated calls or send text messages before 7:30 AM or after 8:00 PM in the recipient’s local time zone
  • All outbound communications require prior express consent
  • We maintain records of consent for all communications
  • After-hours leads receive email communication instead, with calls scheduled for the next business morning

7. How to Opt Out

You may withdraw consent at any time by:

  • SMS: Reply STOP to any text message to immediately opt out of all text communications
  • Phone: Tell our AI assistant or any team member “do not contact me” during a call
  • Email: Send a request to [email protected]

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers: Vapi (voice AI), Deepgram (transcription), OpenAI (language model), Resend (email), Stripe (payments), Cal.com (scheduling), Supabase (database), Telnyx (telephony)
  • As required by law: In response to valid legal processes or to protect our rights

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. Call recordings are retained for up to 12 months for quality assurance and then permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 10).

10. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” We will:

  • Delete your contact information, call recordings, and transcripts within 30 days
  • Remove you from all future communications (calls, SMS, and email)
  • Confirm deletion via email

Exception: If a transactional relationship exists (active subscription, pending order, or billing obligation), we may retain records necessary to fulfill contractual and legal obligations. You will be notified if any data is retained and the reason for retention.

11. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure database access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
